Alumni Testimonials
The teachers did a great job in preparing me for the future. We were always expected to be respectful, on time, organized, and proactive. I loved the close-knit community and small class sizes. I developed lifelong friendships and made memories I'll never forget. Ali Ottery, 2011
As an alumni of St. Mary's Catholic School in Eden, I am so glad my husband and I chose Shepherd fo the Hills for our children. It truly does help set a solid foundation for them to hopefully be good people and good citizens as they get older. If we had to do it all over again, we would do the same thing...send them to SOTH. Michelle Kissinger, Parent
Shepherd of the Hills gave me a religious background where I can stick to my beliefs. SOTH prepared me for the good and bad situations that you will go through in high school. I liked the smallness of SOTH where I came out with friends who will always have my back for the rest of my life. Amber Kissinger, 2016
Shepherd of the Hills prepared me for both high school and college in a way of instilling a moral fiber within each student to have as a base to assist in anything you would encounter in both high school and college. The thing I liked best was how close of a relationship the teachers would have with students. It was almost like having extra parents. Collin Ottery, 2011
Shepherd of the Hills prepared me by setting a good foundation down for me to grow as a person and educationally. It started me off in the right direction to be the best person I could. I like how close I was to my classmates and the overall good atmosphere it presented everyday. Connor Kissinger, 2014
Shepherd of the Hills prepared me for high school and college by making me step out of my comfort zone. Starting in the second grade, I was performing The Living Way of the Cross, Charlie Brown plays, singing and reading at Mass, and many other public speaking opportunities. Because of this I am more likely to speak in front of people without being nervous.
What I liked best about Shepherd of the Hills was the one-on-one time we were able to have with our teachers. Due to the small class sizes, it was easier for us to get extra help if we needed it. Katelyn Schueffner, 2011

Shepherd of the Hills gave us reading and writing skills that prepared us for the critical writing and analytical reading done in high school. The advanced math classes at Shepherd of the Hills made the transition smoother and allowed for more options and more advanced courses in high school. Shepherd of the Hills also prepared us for high school by teaching a variety of science concepts that applied to biology, chemistry, anatomy, and physics.
We liked the small class sizes that enabled us to get to know our peers more easily and communicate more effectively with our teachers. The creative projects and not-straight-from-the-book learning made school more enjoyable, educational, and understandable. We also found the s'mores bars, chicken sandwiches, and parsley potatoes to be divine!

The teaching staff always got to know and have a good relationship with each student, which enhanced my learning ability. Destiny Ottery, 2011
