Vision Statement
Shepherd of the Hills Catholic School strives to form students in the image of Christ through the teachings, values and traditions of the Catholic Church. Through a quality educational program and service in their school, parish and community students are empowered to reach their highest potential as they build the Kingdom of God.

What is enrollment at Shepherd of the Hills?
Enrollment for the 2022-23 school year is 96 students. Maximum class sizes at Shepherd of the Hills are determined by the ages of the students. Younger students need individual attention while older students need more opportunities to become independent learners and work with a variety of teachers. Our class sizes range from approximately 8 - 16 students per classroom.
What is the curriculum at Shepherd of the Hills?
Reading, Math, Religion, English Language Arts, Social Studies, Science are the core subjects taught. We also have specialist teachers for Art, Music, Technology & Computers, Spanish, and Physical Education. In addition, opportunities exist for Band and Athletics.
What about Religion?
Religious instruction happens in a variety of ways. First, as a Catholic school, we incorporate traditional faith formation experiences and Catholic–Christian values into every aspect of our school curriculum and activities. In addition, Religion is taught as a subject at every grade level.
How often do students attend Mass?
Mass is just one aspect of how we celebrate our life experiences as a Catholic community through liturgy and prayer. Shepherd of the Hills students attend weekly Mass on Wednesdays at 8:30 am as well as on holy days of obligation.
When do students prepare for receiving the sacraments?
Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Communion are part of classroom instruction in second grade.

Our students consistently score at or near the top of statewide standardized test results. More detailed standardized test information is available.
What admission policies are followed at Shepherd of the Hills?
Shepherd of the Hills follows admission policies and guidelines set by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. The parish and school respect the dignity of each child. Neither race, nationality nor other forms of discrimination prevent a child from being accepted in the school. In addition, Shepherd of the Hills has adopted the following steps for enrolling students:

Admission requirements are:
- Families who already have children enrolled in the school will have first opportunity and preference.
Enrollment of new families follows these guidelines:
- Preference is given to registered Shepherd of the Hills parishioners according to the date they registered in the parish.
- Among Shepherd of the Hills parishioners, preference is given to families living in the geographic boundaries for the Campbellsport School District.
- Preference will be given to Catholic vs. non-Catholic families because we are a Catholic parish school.
- Non-parishioners living within the geographic school district boundaries receive preference over those not living in the area.
Admission requirements are:
- Completed registration form with registration fee
- Copy of immunization record
- Copy of baptismal certificate (for those not baptized at Shepherd of the Hills)
- The student must meet age or grade placement requirements

3K: Monday - Friday (Full (8:00 am - 3:00 pm) or Half Day (8:00 - 11:30 am) Option)
4K: Monday - Friday (Full (8:00 am - 3:00 pm) or Half Day (8:00 - 11:30 am) Option)
5K - 8: Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 3:00 pm)
Students may be dropped off at 7:30 am. Students enter the building at 7:45 am.
Students are marked Tardy after 8:00 am.

- Spirit wear is any Shepherd of the Hills clothing/accessories with a Shepherd of the Hills logo that is not an approved school uniform shirt.
- Shepherd of the Hills students can wear spirit wear sweatshirts over their regular uniform shirts. Spirit wear cannot be worn to Mass or on field trips.
- Spirit wear ordering happens in August and November.
